DULCOTE AGATE (Mendip Potato Stone, Somerset).  Selected whole nodules of between 0.5 and 1.5kg (1.1 and 3.3lb) weight. 

Concentric bands in varying shades of brick red, caused by hematite, sometimes interspersed with bands of clear quartz.  

It's unlikely that this material will be available in the future as Dulcote Quarry, where these originated, has been closed for some years.
